Annual

Height 90 cm

Scabiosa is sometimes listed as Sweet Scabious, mourning bride or pincushion flowers. It is easy to plant and grow Scabiosa seeds. Scabiosa is a genus in the honeysuckle family of flowering plants. Well known for its pretty blooms; a meadow flower, scabious looks incredible in borders, cottage gardens or gravel gardens or any wildflower garden.

Blooms from midsummer to frost; double flowers in lavender, pink, red, yellow and white. Long stems support hundreds of honey scented florets that produce an old fashioned domed pincushion effect - excellent long-lasting cut flowers.

Plant them in a border, cottage garden or meadow garden to keep the butterflies coming. Plant near your veggie garden to attract bees
