White Lisbon is a very fast growing scallion that matures in 40-60 days. This variety produces deliciously mild and sweet tasting scallions with long stalks approximately 14-18 in tall with white silvery flesh that is great to eat fresh or in stir fries; forms small bulbs when mature, and also stands up to the hot weather. Best suited to grow as a bunching onion. Cool season annual

- Drought tolerant, but prefers regular watering.
- Propagation: division in spring, comes true from seed. Sow seeds one to two inches apart and only a quarter of an inch or 1 cm deep 8 weeks before last frost. Water - scallions require routine watering to successfully grow. Keep the soil evenly moist as your seeds
- Germinates @ 20 C.
- Transplant when all danger of frost has passed 10 cm apart. Drop into preformed holes and leave. Do not back fill. Water in.
