Full description:

Yellow Monkey flower (Erythranthe guttata) is a bright, cheerful wildflower featuring vibrant yellow blooms with subtle red or brown spots in the throat, resembling tiny snapdragons. Native to North America, it thrives in damp habitats such as stream banks, wet meadows, and pond edges. The plant forms low, spreading clumps of soft green leaves, blooming continuously from late spring through summer. It attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, making it a beautiful and functional addition to any garden.

Traditionally, it has been used in herbal remedies for minor skin irritations and inflammation. Note: medicinal use is historical and not a substitute for professional medical care.
