Full description

Serrano Pepper (Capsicum annuum) is a highly productive hot pepper known for its bright, clean heat and crisp texture. The plants grow upright and bushy, producing abundant slender peppers that are typically harvested green but will mature to red if left on the plant. Serrano peppers are hotter than jalapeños and are widely used in fresh salsas, hot sauces, cooking, drying, and pickling. Their bold flavor and reliable yields make them a favorite for home gardeners and market growers alike.

Serrano peppers also offer medicinal and nutritional benefits. They are rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, and antioxidants. The capsaicin responsible for their heat has been traditionally used to support circulation, metabolism, and digestion, and is known for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.
