Bunny tail grass is a small ornamental grass with 2 1/2 in spiky inflorescences that resemble furry cottontails of rabbits, and is native to the Mediterranean. It is also known as hare's-tail. Plants are grown as an annual, but it will readily reseed in your garden, or you can save the seeds and plant in other parts of the garden. Seed heads can be dried and dyed and used in floral arrangements.
