🌱 Sowing Instructions for Aphid-Eater Predatory Insect Mix

1. Timing:

Spring to Early Summer: Sow after the last frost when soil temperatures are consistently above 55°F.

Late Fall: In regions with mild winters, sow in late fall for spring germination.

2. Location:

Choose a sunny spot that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.

Ensure the soil is well-drained and free from weeds.

3. Soil Preparation:

Loosen the top 1–2 inches of soil.

Remove any debris or weeds to reduce competition.

4. Sowing:

Mix seeds with a carrier like dry sand to help distribute them evenly.

Broadcast the seed mixture evenly over the prepared area.

Lightly rake the soil to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.

Do not bury the seeds deeply; a light covering is sufficient.

5. Watering:

Gently water the area after sowing to moisten the soil.

Keep the soil consistently moist during the germination period (10–28 days).

6. Maintenance:

Once established, water as needed, especially during dry periods.

Allow plants to flower and reseed to maintain the habitat for beneficial insects.

7. Coverage:

A 1–2 gram packet covers approximately 10 square feet.
