Best choice for producing blanched hearts of romaine. This variety is one of the tallest, most upright of all romaine. Distinctive vase shaped heads. 

Heavily savoyed, crunchy leaves are slow to cup inwards. Best suited to spring and fall harvests; may be grown in summer in cooler regions
