Agastache – Giant Lavender-Blue Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) – Non-GMO – Organically Grown – Flower

Perennial – Known for its tall, lavender-blue flower spikes and fragrant, licorice-scented foliage, Agastache foeniculum (Anise Hyssop) attracts pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. This versatile plant is both ornamental and edible, ideal for tea or culinary use.

Growing Instructions:

Start indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost or direct sow outdoors after danger of frost has passed.

Sow on the surface of moist, well-draining soil — do not cover, as seeds need light to germinate.

Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.

Germinates in 14–21 days.

Transplant or thin seedlings to 12–18 inches apart in full sun.

Prefers well-drained soil and benefits from occasional deadheading to prolong bloom.

Stratification:

Cold stratify for 30 days: place seeds in a sealed container with moist sand or paper towel in the refrigerator before planting.
