Perennial
Height 1 to 2 ft
Mexican fleabane, is a species of delicate daisy-like wildflower plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Mexico and parts of Central America. Other common names include Latin American Fleabane, Santa Barbara Daisy, Spanish Daisy, Karwinsky's Fleabane, and Bony-Tip Fleabane.
This is one of the prettiest little flowers and it closely resembles the traditional Daisy. Mexican fleabane is easy to grow, versatile, and flowers appear through the spring, summer, and even into the fall. Each plant has several composite flowers that look typically like a daisy - having a yellow central disk surrounded by white, petal-like rays. Composite flowers are positioned singularly atop the terminal shoot of downy stems. When the flowers first bloom, they appear white in colour, and turns to a range of soft to bright pinks - excellent plants for rockeries! Perfect for containers. Excellent attractant for bees, butterflies and moth pollinators!

They need plenty of light and consistent moisture for success. Transplant outdoors after all risk of frost has passed.

- Transplant or direct sow spacing 9 to 18 in apart
- Harvest: cut off a few mature flower heads with long stems and put into a paper bag, tied around the stems. Hang the bag upside down indoors until the seeds are released.
