  • recommend direct sow in the fall; seeds will germinate in the spring and begin to form the bulb.
  • To start seeds indoors, seeds need stratification to mimic winter. Start this process 10-12 weeks before the last frost date. Seeds need light to germinate so sow them on the surface of the soil and do not cover.Place a plastic bag on top and place whole thing in the fridge for 6 weeks.
