- Direct sow on the surface of the soil when all risk of frost has passed.
- Start indoors; vernalization process is required: place seeds on surface of moistened sterilized seed starting mix in pots; place into sealed bags and place these in the fridge for 2 weeks. Move pots to warm place until germination process begins and once seedlings are strong enough to handle, transplant outdoors once all risk of frost has passed.
