POPPY Hens and Chickens - perfect for seed collectors! This variety has extremely large seed heads surrounded by clusters of smaller seed heads - also excellent for dried and fresh floral arrangements, table-scapes and wreaths. This variety produces an assortment of colours including delicate shades as apricot, salmon, and a range of pinks from rose, blush and flesh and through to the most brilliant of crimson. Blooms from June through to September. Excellent self seeder!

- Soil well draining; will tolerate drought
- Direct seed in early spring or autumn. Cover lightly. Sow seeds in autumn for early blooms in the spring. Poppies despise transplanting; recommend direct sowing. Thin and deadhead to keep flowers coming. Collect the seeds when the pods are dried and before the top part opens to disperse naturally. Store in a cool dark place until use.
