The plants produce clusters of elegant soft pink, rosy and blush-coloured flowers held above lush green foliage. Their airy appearance makes them a gorgeous addition to cottage gardens, flower borders, pollinator gardens and containers.
One of the most special things about Nicotiana is its fragrance. Many varieties become especially fragrant during the evening, filling the garden with a sweet perfume as the sun begins to set.

Growing Pink Nicotiana From Seed
Nicotiana seeds are very small and should be surface sown.
Start seeds indoors approximately 6–8 weeks before your last expected frost, or direct sow outdoors once temperatures have warmed.
Sprinkle the seeds over the surface of a moist, fine seed-starting mix and gently press them into place.
Do not deeply cover the seeds, as light helps encourage germination.
Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged while the seeds germinate.
Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots if necessary. Gradually acclimate seedlings to outdoor conditions before planting them in the garden after the danger of frost has passed.
Space plants adequately to encourage good airflow and allow them to develop their naturally graceful form.
Removing spent flowers can encourage continued blooming throughout the season.
