Perennial

Height:8–2.5m (6–8')

The entire plant is edible. From root to tip! Tastes like a mix of parsley, anise and celery!

Lovage is the tallest of all garden herbs. Grow this highly ornamental and large stature plant as an accent in your borders and garden - especially when it flowers. Flowers are highly decorative, yellow and umbrella shaped umbels...perfect for beneficial pollinators to land on.

If celery is too difficult for you to grow plant Lovage; lovage is an umbelliferous plant in the family Apiaceae – the parsley family. It has a distinct celery-like flavour; roots can be eaten as a vegetable or grated into salads. Just snip fresh leaves and add to salads, soups, stews and dry leaves retain their flavour so you can keep a jar full around for winter cooking.
