Carrot - White Satin (Daucus carota var. sativus) Early White Satin Extra Sweet Carrots Vegetable

Annual

Height

This variety, White Satin, is a Danvers type carrot; seeds produce 8 to 9 in roots. These  bright white carrots are extra crispy, and have a very mild flavor. Core is bright white also, and has strong tops, and small green shoulders.

This is a coated hybrid, and we included it as it is quite attractive, sweet and delicious! Best quality arises from raised beds, free of stones and debris so the roots don't fork. Pellated. Stores well.
