Cabbage - All Seasons (Phaseolus lunatus) All Season Cabbages Heirloom Non GMO Vegetable

Annual

Height 12-14 in

A good mid-season flavorful cabbage for those regions with a moderate to warm summer. Widely used for sauerkraut, and excellent for cole slaw as well.  'All Seasons' was first listed in 1886, and just a few years later it made an appearance in Burpee's 1890 Farm Annual as 'Novelty' under the name 'The Vandergaw' and is still known as one of the best and earliest cabbages available.

All Seasons is heat tolerant and resistant to yellows.  Suitable for spring, summer and fall crops. Plants are 12-14" high and 30-36" wide. All Seasons cabbage produces fine heads that are about 10-11" across and average about 11-14 lbs. Cabbage is an excellent source of vitamin C and contains significant amounts of glutamine, an amino acid that has anti-inflammatory properties.
