Pepper - Sweet Italian - Friariello (Capsicum annuum ) Peperoncini Verdi Italian Sweet Hot Peppers Tuscan Non GMO & Organic Heirloom Italian Vegetable

This pepper variety is a sweet Italian chili pepper of the species Capsicum annuum. It is also known as the Golden Greek pepper, Sweet Italian pepper, or Tuscan pepper. In the United States they may be called 'pepperoncini' and they are quite distinct from Italian peperoncini, which are hot Italian chili peppers.

Tall, bushy plants makes loads of green fruits that ripen to bright red. Plants produce sweet and flavorful frying peppers that are long, cone shaped pods ranging from about 1 to 3 inches in length, and typically are fried whole, seeds and all, until blistered and browned. When fully ripe, they turn bright red and look like chili's, but they are mild and sweet. Eat the whole pepper in one or two bites; enjoy their delicate flavor.  Some prefer more than green bell peppers.
