Carrot - Parisian Gourmet Round Carrots (Daucus carota subsp. sativus) NonGMO Heirloom Gourmet Carrots Vegetable.

Annual

Height 6 to 12 in

The Parisian Carrot is unique in both its shape and ability to grow in difficult soils. This carrot variety grows roots that are very short and squat, and they are practically a globe shape.

Parisian Carrots can be grown in heavy soils where long carrots are difficult to grow because of their short growth pattern. Like all carrots, this variety does best in well-drained and sandy soils, but unlike others, it can grow in rocky soil!

Carrots bring bountiful nutrients to the table, as well as a burst of color. Carrots are rich in vitamin A, which helps prevent poor eyesight. In addition to being a tasty treat to humans, they also make a healthy treat for pets. Parisian Carrots have the classic orange carrot coloured skin and flesh; they taste extra sweet and are very tender compared to standard varieties.

Before Planting: Till the area so you have deep, loose, and fertile. Mix in sand for best results which will help give good moisture retention and straight, smooth roots. Carrots require well-drained soils, with a pH range of 6.0-7.0.
