Full description:
Strelitzia nicolai, commonly known as the Giant Bird of Paradise or Bird of Paradise Tree, is a striking tropical plant admired for its bold, banana-like foliage and exotic, crane-shaped flowers in shades of white, blue, and purple. Native to South Africa, this plant grows into a large, tree-like clump, often reaching heights of 20 feet or more in ideal conditions. The dramatic silhouette and lush greenery make it a popular choice for landscapes, patios, and large indoor spaces. It’s a close relative of the smaller Strelitzia reginae, but with a much grander form.
