Annual/Perennial in areas with mild winters
Height 18 to 24 in
Vietnamese Lemon Mint, also called Kinh Gioi and Vietnamese Balm, is a very unique herb; plants produce saw-edged or serrated, bright green leaves that are similar in scent and flavour to lemon verbena and lemongrass; young leaves are typically used in fish and chicken dishes, salads, soups and teas with fresh or dried leaves for medicinal uses. Young leaves and tips can be harvested 30 days after transplanting.
This variety produces many branches. Very productive. Good variety for open field planting and container growing. Grown as a tender perennial in frost-free areas, and an annual herb elsewhere.
