Quaint short bush daisy with miniature white blooms with yellow centers on this plant; blooms between July and October.

  • commonly used as a natural treatment for fevers, headaches, arthritis and migraines; parthenolide is the active ingredient in the feverfew plant. Also used as antiseptic and natural  insecticide 
  • related to the daisy and is a species of chrysanthemum
  • start seeds indoors springkle into pot of damp loamy soil; tap the bottom of the pot to settle the seeds into the soil. Spray water to keep the seeds moist. germinates in about 14 days. Transplant out when seeds are about 3 in tall and after all risk of frost has passed  - transplant pot and seedling as one and water regularly until established
  • OR sow direct outdoors in the spring while the soil is still cool; sprinkle the seeds on top of the soil and do not cover; need light to germinate.
  • water by misting only so as not to displace seeds
  • When seedlings are 3-5 inches then them to 15 inches apart
