Cosmos - Red Dazzler (Cosmos bipinnatus) Cosmos Red Wildflowers Flower
Annual
Height 36 to 60 in
Absolutely stunning! Red Dazzler Cosmos, also called Mexican Aster, is a newer variety of garden Cosmos that can be sown outside in early spring or after last frost, and is one of the best flowers for xeriscaping. This Cosmos variety features attractive finely-cut feathery apple green foliage and blunt tipped (almost rectangular shaped petals) true red daisy-like flowers with a bright yellow centre. This variety blooms all summer long into the late fall.
Cosmos Red Dazzler is also a great choice for mass plantings in meadows, along roadsides, walkways and any naturalized landscapes. Cosmos is great for window boxes and container planting. Cosmos is a low maintenance plant with brightly coloured flowers that attract hummingbirds, butterflies and bees, and resists heat and drought. Blooms from midsummer to the first frost. Excellent choice for cutting gardens and make fantastic long stemmed cut flowers. Great for borders, cottage style gardens and meadows.
